Your Daily Thoughts
Build your days on a foundation of pleasant thoughts. Think on things that are true, honest, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, and praise worthy. Phil 4:8
Don’t let your mind brood over your mistakes and failures. Mistakes are life’s way of teaching you. Remind yourself daily that you are a creation of God and thank Him for the way He made you.
Take control of fearful thoughts—those “What If Thoughts”. What if I get cancer? What if my husband dies? What if my husband has an affair? What if my children rebel? What if I don’t have enough money when I get old? What if, what if, what if? The list could go on forever. We must moment by moment take those thoughts captive and bring them into obedience to Christ-centered thoughts. II Corin 10:5
God-centered thoughts are thoughts that focus on God’s principles and His guidance. These are thoughts that bring peace and joy.
Wrong thoughts are thoughts that focus on “How I feel”. These are self-centered thoughts. These are thoughts that cause our emotions to feel pride, bitterness, doubt, low-self esteem, anger, etc.
